The Marketing and Communications Department is responsible for Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) internal and external communications, including St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare.

Sometimes patients who want to share their experience at the Medical Center send these experiences via letters. When patients agree to share them with the public, the Marketing and Communications Department asks for written consent to publish or record these testimonials in marketing materials. If you would like to fill out a form and share your experience, please click here.
To request an interview or information, please call the Department Manager during office hours and we will do our best to coordinate it. Mohawk Valley Health System policy requires that all members of the media are accompanied by a member of the Marketing and Communications Department on the main campus. Interviewing, filming or photography will not be done without prior consent from the subject, with signed documentation on a SEMC consent form.
To learn a patient’s condition, call the Department number during office hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday – Friday). After those hours, and on weekends or holidays, please call the main hospital number, 801-8100 and ask for the Nursing Supervisor.
In the event of a community crisis or disaster, our Media Disaster Plan will activate. Please familiarize yourself with this plan, since numerous changes would take effect.
