Hospital Medicine Fellowship

The St. Elizabeth Medical Center's Fellowship in Hospital Medicine program is a non-accredited one-year program that provides graduates of Family Medicine Residencies additional training and experience in Inpatient Medicine. It is a one-year intensive course that is derived from the Society of Hospital Medicine recommended material from Watcher’s “Hospitalist Medicine”, Marino’s “The ICU Book”, and William’s “Comprehensive Hospital Medicine” along with the core list of competency of medical management and procedures as outlined from the society of Hospital Medicine.

Under the guidance of our dedicated faculty, the fellow will focus on the care of the hospitalized patient and teaching residents and medical students. Our fellows will serve as colleagues in the direct care of primary patients as well as in a consultative role. Fellows will also be active members and integral part of the Medical Center's Emergency Response Teams.
