Annual Giving Opportunities

Sister Rose Vincent Legacy Fund

The St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation has established the Sister Rose Vincent Legacy Fund in memory of the former President/CEO of the Medical Center who passed away on November 23, 2012. Sister Rose Vincent was a pillar of St. Elizabeth, a cherished friend and a prominent member of our community. Learn more.

St. Elizabeth Legacy Society

St. Elizabeth Legacy Society is a permanent unrestricted endowment fund designed to build long-range financial stability for St. Elizabeth Medical Center through the support of donors wishing to make a lasting impact on future patients treated at the Medical Center. Donated funds will be invested, with only the earnings gained being spent to support important projects, programs and services at the Medical Center.

Have you thought about what you want your last gift to be? While we will all leave a legacy, the real question is whether it will be deliberate or unintentional. We welcome the opportunity to discuss with you how your gift can leave a lasting legacy for future patients of St. Elizabeth Medical Center, your family and generations to follow.

Membership in the Legacy Society may be accomplished in one or more of the following ways:

• By making a bequest, by revising an existing Will, or making a new one directing a percentage, fixed amount or contingency statement which will direct an eventual gift to the SEMC Foundation.
• By naming the SEMC Foundation as a primary or secondary beneficiary of a new or existing insurance policy.
• By creating a Charitable Remainder Trust.
• By making a cash contribution to the SEMC Foundation.

Your support through one or more of the above plans can be made through a gift or bequest of money, stock, or life insurance policy to the SEMC Foundation. In fact, some gifts can enable you to make a gift larger than you might have thought possible.

Benefits include:

• Complimentary admission to Leadership and Recognition Event.
• Permanent recognition on donor wall in the Medical Center (does Marketing have any photos of this?)
• Recognition in the Foundation Annual Report
• Exclusive, commemorative gift signifying your generosity

Elizabethan Society

Join a society committed to maintaining distinguished programs of quality patient care and health education. Members agree to contribute a gift of $10,000 or more over a period not to exceed ten years.

Benefits include:

• Complimentary admission to Leadership and Recognition Event.
• Commemorative engraved clock
• Member’s names are permanently engraved on individual leaves of the Tree of life, prominently displayed within the Medical Center
• Recognition in the Foundation Annual Report

Franklin Club

Gifts from Franklin Club members provide necessary funding for capital needs, including the acquisition of vital equipment needed to keep pace with rapid advancements in medicine and technology.

Benefits include:

• Complimentary admission to Leadership and Recognition Event.
• A Franklin club member plaque
• Recognition in the Foundation Annual Report

Annual Membership Levels:

Samaritan - $100

Humanitarian - $250

Visionary - $500
