St. Elizabeth Medical Center's Trauma Center To Hold 24 Annual Symposium St. Elizabeth Medical Center’s Trauma Center will hold its 24th Annual Trauma Symposium from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 4, at the Radisson Hotel-Utica Centre, 200 Genesee Street, Utica. The teaching day will feature the following presentations:
“Blast Trauma” & “Emergency Management of the Burn Patient” by Julio Lairet, MD, Emergency Medicine Physician, Dir. of Enroute Care Research Center, AF/SG Consultant for Critical Care Air Transport, Helotes, Texas.
“What is Definitive Care for the Trauma Patient” by Maryann Fields, RN, BSN, CNOR, Trauma/Helicopter Program Manager, SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.
“Emergency Airway Management of the Trauma Patient” by Derek R. Cooney, MD, Dir., EMS & Disaster Medicine Fellowship, SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.
“Ballistics and the Damage Left Behind” by Julius Cheng, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Surgery & Pediatrics, University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester.
