The Town of Webb Health Center Fund, Inc. has committed to donate $36,150 to St. Elizabeth Medical Center to upgrade the radiology equipment at the Medical Center’s Town of Webb Health Center.
This donation will be used to upgrade the current radiology equipment at the Health Center to convert it from an analog film processing system to a filmless, digital system. The upgrade will significantly improve the time in which x-rays are available for interpretation by a radiologist, as well as, the image quality. The upgrade will take place in March 2013.
“We are pleased to partner with and be able to provide funding to St. Elizabeth Medical Center to upgrade this important piece of equipment,” said Hazel Dellavia, President,
Board of Directors, Town of Health Fund, Inc. “The purpose of the Health Center Fund is to support the health and well being of the residents and visitors to the Town of Webb and surrounding communities. This gift allows St. Elizabeth Medical Center’s Town of Webb Health Center to provide access to care to anyone in our community.”
Radiology services will be available for the Center’s patients and for any patient with a physician’s order.
