This years symposium was a success.
A collection of expert speakers combined with a hands on afternoon workshop, provided attendees education on the full spectrum of care for managing sports injuries.
The goal of the program was to help athletic trainers and physical therapists stay up to date on the latest sports medicine to provide the best care possible.
Dan Dichiera, PT, DPT, ATC, has organized this event for the second straight year. "Our target audience was also to include school nurses, coaches and other healthcare professionals... so that we can provide the local medical community with up to date and current trends as it relates to sports medicine, whether it's concussion or shoulder repair or just evaluation diagnostic tools."
